My co-worker, Chris, started this petition and then my friend, Jason, sent it to me via my reader. Small world. But seriously, definitely go and eat some tacos that night.
May 1st is Taco Night
After Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to extend the amount of time a taco truck can stay put in one spot from one half hour to a one hour, but also upped the fine for violating that restriction from $60 to $1000 and/or six months in jail, a pair of teachers began a blog and petition at saveourtacotrucks.org. Now, Aaron Sonderleiter and Chris Rutherford have declared May 1st, fifteen days before the law goes into effect, as Taco Truck Night.
