I think I can talk about it now that it's on the Flickr Blog but I did enjoying curating and creating different galleries using Flickr's new gallery feature. How is it different from the pools? Well, the obvious is that it's not constantly growing from so many different members. Another is that you are the one creating it and no one else. It's also a great way to take time to think of a theme and then slowing, methodically find images that reflect that theme. People did everything from kittens to whisky to horizontal. It is also really fantastic seeing what people come up with. I spent a good amount of time with the two galleries I curated and discovered so many new photographers who post on Flickr. Definitely worth taking it for a spin...maybe you can use it for an art class or math class even a Language Arts/English course. So many things to do with great visuals.
